As much as it saddens us so, all good things must come to an end. Sad to say, my camera’s end came earlier than I expected. Just a few weeks after my 19th birthday, I discovered that my 18th birthday gift had a fatal accident.

Now, as my dear cam lies in coma, after his concussion caused by one of my family members, I can only hope that the experts at Casio can do something to bring him back to life. I know he probably wouldn’t be the same as before, and if it’s the costs are too high, I probably can’t have him back.

Well, I guess this is goodbye, my dear cam. It has been a wonderful year with you. Yealar, I know it looks funny, but I had to cover the lens which can't retract anymore, to prevent it from further damage.

Meanwhile, my dad got another camera because he needs one for work. So, say hello to the newcomer to the family, the Nikon Coolpix P4. I think I’m fickle, but after one month with this camera, I think I’m beginning to quite like it. Except for the frustratingly slow shutter speed, which renders even the slightest movement of any subject in the photo a blur.

This photo was taken in the elevator at a hotel in Miri. The infinity mirror was just too irresistible, I just had to whip out my camera.

Oh yea, I almost forgot! I’m now blogging with my new computer, after 6 years of using an ancient pc, this is just blissful. Imagine, going from having just 9GB hard disk space, to now 80GB, I’m over the moon. Haha. And finally, I get to experience what dual core and Windows XP, and Windows Live Messenger is like. Aaaah, I never knew what I was missing out on.

Okay, since I’m in such a good mood, here are some more photos!

These are my two teddies which are gifts from my friends for my 19th birthday. Yes, there are two teddies there, one is a bit shy, hiding in the shadows. Thanks to my friends Roselyn, Jia Lin, Siaw Fern and Tze Siew for the cuddly bear. And thanks to Sarah for the blue bear. It really is sweet of you girls.

All my gifts, in their “unwrapped” state. The one in the blue box is from Ming Yien and Shu Chin. The one in the greenish box is from Samantha, Vivian, Erna and Nicole. Thanks so much!

And here are all the gifts. I think this year, all my gifts have some blue colour in them. Purposely or not, I do not know, but it is my favourite colour afterall.
